Kick-off conference | Porto, Portugal (8–10 July 2026)
Our inaugural meeting will bring together ~100 researchers working on structural variant research across animals, plants, fungi, and diverse evolutionary scales. The goal is not just to present results, but to initiate collaborations and align research directions.

Special Issue in the Journal of Evolutionary Biology
We are editing a JEB special issue titled “Genome Architecture and Evolution: How Structural and Genetic Variation Shapes Biodiversity.” Submissions are open until June 2026.
Online seminar series (launching soon)
A regular seminar series highlighting empirical, theoretical, and methodological advances in structural variation research, designed to foster genuine cross-disciplinary dialogue rather than parallel monologues.
